Chief Software Scientist
I'm tempted to say that this is a glorified term for ``head hacker'',
but some people might not approve. ``Hacker,'' in any case, has a
long and honorable history (meaning, roughly, ``computer expert and
enthusiast'') in spite of recent attempts by the press to make it mean ``one
who attempts to break into or abuse computer systems,'' a meaning which more
properly applies to ``cracker.''
Sr. Computer Scientist
is a glorified term for ``middle-aged hacker''. I used to be one.
Real hackers use an AXE!
