Note that there was no post in 1992 (I was out of state and off the net), nor in 1999, when Colleen's mother and my father died within a month; it's possible I'd had enough of grieving for that year. Note, too, that although I feel a little guilty about posting other peoples' responses here, all of this is available from the archive at Google Groups -- in fact, I had lost my copies of the 1990-1993 posts, so I'm eternally grateful to the good folks at the late, lamented Deja-News for passing their archive on to Google.
